ISLAMABAD, Sep 11 (APP): President Dr Arif Alvi on Monday reiterated the resolve to make Pakistan a modern Islamic welfare state as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, by fully focusing on education and poverty alleviation.
The president, in his message to the nation on the death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah observed on September 11, said on the day, the whole Pakistani nation paid tribute to the great leader of the Indo-Pak subcontinent.
He said under Quaid̵7;s farsighted and prudent leadership, the Muslims of the subcontinent had achieved Pakistan within a short span of time.
The president said that Quaid-e-Azam had advocated for peace, equality, rule of law, economic and social justice as well as the minorities’ rights.
He said Quaid-e-Azam had contested the case of the Muslims and led to the creation of a separate homeland.
He said the observance of Quaid̵7;s golden principles was inevitable for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
