ISLAMABAD, Oct 21 (APP): Speaker National Assembly has lauded parliamentary journalists for their outstanding reporting on the occasion of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
He commended the discipline and responsibility displayed by the journalists, recognizing their contribution to maintaining order during the session, said a news release.
The Speaker specifically praised the efforts of the Parliamentary Reporters Association of Pakistan (PRAP) for its role in ensuring professionalism and decorum during the event.
He emphasized that the press gallery is an essential part of the Parliament, playing a critical role in conveying legislative activities to the public.
“The press gallery is a vital component of the Parliament,” the Speaker stated. “The role it plays in bringing the legislative work of the House to the people is of great importance.”
He said that parliamentary journalists have consistently portrayed the positive image of the Parliament to the public and expressed hope that PRAP would continue to uphold its commendable traditions during future legislative sessions.
